About Us

Welcome to the 1st Harmondsworth Scout Group website.

1st Harmondsworth Scout Group is situated in the middle of the community and opened it’s doors to young people back in 1930. Since then thousands of young people from the Village and surrounding areas have joined us and have enjoyed having fun, making new friends, learning new skills, achieving badges and taken part in a wide range of Scouting activities. We welcome both boys and girls to come along and join in the adventure.

Our weekly meetings are interspersed with trips to camp, fun days, community activities, social and sporting activities. Badges can be gained by completing tasks which are based around fun, education, and scouting skills these are then developed and advanced over time enabling our Scouts to “be prepared” for the adventures that await them.

1st Harmondsworth Scout Group is run by volunteers of all ages and we enjoy the support of parents and the local community. We welcome adult volunteers, of all ages, to help keep the Scout Group functioning and whether it be working with our Scouts or helping to look after our garden we welcome the support and can always find a job that needs doing. All adult members require a full DBS check which will be arranged by the group.
