The Scout Association offers fun experiences to hundreds of thousands of young people and is supported by thousands volunteers across the United Kingdom.
Beavers
Beavers are our youngest members with and age range of 6 – 8 years old, there is a little fexibility in this age range dependent on each childs circumstances. The Beaver section meets each week and we enjoy all that Scouting has to offer; and introduce our Beavers to outdoor activities, opportunities to be creative, exploring our local community and lots more.
Our programme is based around the Beaver Badges that Scouting offers be that model making (Builders Badge) or visiting Pets at Home (Animal Badge). There’s always lots to do.
The Beaver Colony is the first and youngest section of the Scout Group. Beaver Scouts are young people aged between 6 and 8 years old. There is core flexibility in the age range: young people can join from age 5¾, and can move to Cubs between age 7½ and 8½.
